Did You Know?

According to industry sources:

Only 20% of all public records in the U.S. are available by database research.

52% of all employment applications contain misrepresented information.

When conducting employment-related investigations, the Fair Credit Reporting Act requires the most current information available be used.

In most cases, that means computer database research cannot be used because on-site research conducted manually at the county-level courts and other public agencies is the only way to get the most current information available.

When conducting asset searches, the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act prohibits using any type of pretext to obtain financial information.
